You will also receive exam training. You will be taking tests on the computer. The result of your test shows whether you are ready for the exam. If not, then you practice with the parts that you still find difficult. If you are ready for your exam, then you will register yourself!
The State Exam consists of 4 components:
- Read: you get a number of texts (about 7). These texts have questions (about 40). In 100 minutes you read the questions and look for the answers (A, B, of C) in the lyrics.
- Listen: you will hear a number of audio fragments (about 6). With those fragments you get questions (about 30). In 70 minutes you read the questions, listen to the fragments and try the correct answers (A, B, of C) to give.
- To write: you will be given three types of writing assignments. First, you are going to finish sentences: the beginning of the sentence is already there, you finish the sentence. Second, there are short writing assignments. You write short notes, emails or faxes and / or answer them. Third, there are longer writing assignments. Here you write longer texts, such as: column, report or complaint.
- To speak: you will receive two types of speaking assignments. First, you answer a few times to different conversation partners. Then you get situations with drawings and you tell what the situation is based on the information from those illustrations. Sometimes you also tell us what your opinion is or you have to give arguments.
